Shopkeeper Shot At By Terrorists In Jammu And Kashmir's Anantnag

Terrorists shot at and injured a shopkeeper in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Monday evening, officials said here.

The ultras opened fire on Aqib Ahmad Dar (31) at Marhama in Anantnag district at around 9 pm, they added.

Aqid Ahmad Dar was rushed to a hospital where his condition was stated to be stable.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident.

'800-Strong Mob Intended To Cause Death': Probe Agency On Bengal Attack

Giving chilling details about the attack on its officials, allegedly by supporters of a Trinamool Congress leader, the Enforcement Directorate has said the mob consisted of 800-1,000 people and that there was an "intention to cause death".
