Peace is possible but thorny issues prick it

Hyderabad: Let's get first thing first. There are three parties in the Afghan peace process: The US, the Taliban and to a lesser degree of importance, the Afghan government. To broker a deal to bring about peace, the co-operation between the first two is more important. But the role of the Afghan government is not to be undermined.

'800-Strong Mob Intended To Cause Death': Probe Agency On Bengal Attack

Giving chilling details about the attack on its officials, allegedly by supporters of a Trinamool Congress leader, the Enforcement Directorate has said the mob consisted of 800-1,000 people and that there was an "intention to cause death".
