Puri Jagannath temple: Elections underway to get new Daitapatis today

Puri: The Jagannath temple in Puri will get its new group of Daitapatis (servitors to Lord Jagannath) on Monday. Elections for 15 servitors among 24 candidates have started at 9 am in the morning at the southern gate lobby of the temple.

'800-Strong Mob Intended To Cause Death': Probe Agency On Bengal Attack

Giving chilling details about the attack on its officials, allegedly by supporters of a Trinamool Congress leader, the Enforcement Directorate has said the mob consisted of 800-1,000 people and that there was an "intention to cause death".
