Greater Flamingos return to Cyprus for winter

Larnaka, Cyprus: Flocks of Greater Flamingos have returned to Cyprus to spend the winter feeding in the island's salt lakes.Recent heavy rainfall has created less than ideal conditions for the pinkish-coloured birds, which have less shrimps to feed on in the less salty conditions.
