New Delhi: Social activist and former Samata Party president, Jaya Jaitly who worked hand in hand with George Fernandes spoke to ETV Bharat and remembered the socialist hero as a man who never compromised on his principles. "George Fernandes was a great man. He inspired and motivated many people to fight against injustice and to work for humanity throughout his life," said Jaya Jaitly.

'800-Strong Mob Intended To Cause Death': Probe Agency On Bengal Attack

Giving chilling details about the attack on its officials, allegedly by supporters of a Trinamool Congress leader, the Enforcement Directorate has said the mob consisted of 800-1,000 people and that there was an "intention to cause death".
