Congress likely to go solo in Lok Sabha elections in UP

New Delhi: Even as the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) are inching closer to form an alliance against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh, keeping the Congress at bay, former Union Minister Salman Khurshid said none should consider Congress as weak and it is prepared to counter the BJP in every possible front.

'800-Strong Mob Intended To Cause Death': Probe Agency On Bengal Attack

Giving chilling details about the attack on its officials, allegedly by supporters of a Trinamool Congress leader, the Enforcement Directorate has said the mob consisted of 800-1,000 people and that there was an "intention to cause death".
