20 organisations oppose ST status to six communities of Assam

New Delhi: Representatives of as many as 20 organisations from Assam on Wednesday have opposed Centre's recent move of giving Schedule Tribe (ST) status to six new communities of Assam. The delegation also submitted memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
