This village prohibits menstruating girls from attending school

Pithoragarh (Uttarakhand): In a bizarre incident, girl students from the Sail Inter-College were not allowed to attend classes for four days due to their menstrual cycle as they had to cross three temples on the way to reach the college. Reportedly, the villagers were not in favour of the fact that students undergoing menstrual cycle should cross the same passage of the temples leading to the college.

'800-Strong Mob Intended To Cause Death': Probe Agency On Bengal Attack

Giving chilling details about the attack on its officials, allegedly by supporters of a Trinamool Congress leader, the Enforcement Directorate has said the mob consisted of 800-1,000 people and that there was an "intention to cause death".
