Suspension of fuel tax hike in France in the offing!

Paris: There may be a softening of French government's stand on the fuel issue that has galvanized thousands of people across France to take to the streets for nearly three weeks now. According to French media French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe is expected to announce the suspension of fuel tax hike.

'800-Strong Mob Intended To Cause Death': Probe Agency On Bengal Attack

Giving chilling details about the attack on its officials, allegedly by supporters of a Trinamool Congress leader, the Enforcement Directorate has said the mob consisted of 800-1,000 people and that there was an "intention to cause death".
