20 newborns die in Assam hospital in 9 days

Guwahati: The Assam government has sent a team of medical experts to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) following the reported death of 20 newborns in the hospital in nine days. Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma ordered a high-level probe over the matter.

'800-Strong Mob Intended To Cause Death': Probe Agency On Bengal Attack

Giving chilling details about the attack on its officials, allegedly by supporters of a Trinamool Congress leader, the Enforcement Directorate has said the mob consisted of 800-1,000 people and that there was an "intention to cause death".
