HC adjourns hearing on Elgaar Parishad case to Sep 17

Hyderabad: The Bombay High Court adjourned the hearing on a bunch of petitions seeking transfer of investigation of Elgaar Parishad case to National Investigative Agency to September 17. This was followed after lawyer for the accused said that Supreme Court will hear a plea of transfer of probe to some independent agency on September 12.

'800-Strong Mob Intended To Cause Death': Probe Agency On Bengal Attack

Giving chilling details about the attack on its officials, allegedly by supporters of a Trinamool Congress leader, the Enforcement Directorate has said the mob consisted of 800-1,000 people and that there was an "intention to cause death".
