Exclusive interview: Officer behind the surgical strike

Hyderabad: Lt Gen DS Hooda, who headed the Northern Command at the time of surgical strikes described surgical strikes as a great success and said that the accomplishment of soldiers should be celebrated. In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, the former head of Northern Command said that the purpose of the strikes was to send a strong message across the border and the terrorists based along the border.

'800-Strong Mob Intended To Cause Death': Probe Agency On Bengal Attack

Giving chilling details about the attack on its officials, allegedly by supporters of a Trinamool Congress leader, the Enforcement Directorate has said the mob consisted of 800-1,000 people and that there was an "intention to cause death".
