Longtime Rivals Will Share Platform At Opposition's Big Patna Meet

The big opposition meet in Patna on June 23 will bring together several parties that have been at loggerheads for years. It will be attended by senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge. They are likely to find themselves face to face with some the party's most vocal critics -- Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal and Akhilesh Yadav. With the flood reaching the rooftops, rescuers raced to save people in Kherson as water from the destroyed Kakhovka dam engulfed the southern Ukrainian city. "We don't have a house anymore. 2 Children Found Dead Inside Wooden Box In Delhi House

Two children were found dead inside a wooden box from a house in South East Delhi, hours after they went missing, police said on Tuesday. The bodies of two children, Neeraj (8) and Arti (6), were found inside a wooden box in Delhi's Jamia Nagar. "A call was received at Jamia Nagar police station that two bodies of children were found at house No. F2, Joga Bai extension. The children used to live in this house with their father Balbir, who works as a guard on the property," police said. A local inquiry has revealed that the deceased children had lunch at 3 pm today with their parents and went missing at around 3.30 pm. The parents and others started searching for them and later found them in the box, police said. "The crime team has confirmed that there is no injury on the body and seems to be a case of accidental asphyxia," Delhi Police added. Bihar Bridge Collapse: Show Cause Notice Given To Construction Company

Bihar Government on Tuesday has given a show cause notice to the construction company after the collapse of the Aguwani-Sultanganj bridge in Bhagalpur on Sunday evening. "A show cause notice is being issued to the construction company, and action will be taken against the contractors and engineers involved in the project who have already been removed. The bridge will be constructed in a time-bound manner as it is a dream project of CM," said Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav. The bridge was constructed to link Bhagalpur and Khagaria districts over the river Ganges.  It involved a cost of over Rs 1,770 crore and was supposed to be completed by 2019. The foundation stone of the structure was laid in February 2014, by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The Chinese government will seek to initiate artificial intelligence regulations in its country, billionaire Elon Musk said on Monday after meeting with officials during his recent trip to China.
